Red-Frame Mixed-Use Residential Building
A striking multi-family residential project designed with Space Designer 3D, exploring the intersection of functional urban living and expressive architectural form. Crisp white volumes are sharply outlined with vivid red frames, creating a building that commands attention through geometry, voids, and material contrast.
The massing is composed of interlocking rectilinear blocks, strategically offset to create dynamic volumes and shaded outdoor corridors. A vertical circulation shaft is wrapped in translucent red cladding, becoming a visual beacon and central organizer of the facade. Each floor offers generous balconies with minimalist railings, ensuring unobstructed views and a strong indoor-outdoor connection.
The structure hosts multiple residential units in various configurations: 2 to 3-bedroom apartments with optimized surface areas, open-plan living spaces with direct balcony access, and efficient vertical and horizontal circulation. A podium garage accommodates private parking, while an integrated side staircase provides pedestrian access to both residential entries and landscaped zones.
Materials and strategy include red metal cladding for urban identity, white plaster facades for thermal reflectivity, and floor-to-ceiling windows for daylight and energy efficiency. Sustainability is integrated through passive solar gain control, natural ventilation, and compact volumetric design.
A useful reference for architects and developers planning mid-rise residential projects with strong visual identity.
