Modern Fitness Studio with Perforated Metal Facade
A fitness center designed with Space Designer 3D as a functional and energizing space where clarity of layout and openness contribute to the overall wellness experience. The architectural approach emphasizes light, rhythm, and spatial efficiency.
The room is organized along a longitudinal axis, with cardio equipment (bikes and ellipticals) aligned in sequence to maintain visual coherence and facilitate user flow. A continuous glazed facade floods the interior with natural light, while colored perforated metal panels filter solar gain and add a dynamic visual rhythm from inside and out.
A palette of neutral floors and ceilings provides a calm backdrop, allowing color-coded elements (yellow, blue, and black sunshades, red gym upholstery) to punctuate the space and signal zones of activity. The layout ensures clear zoning between cardio and strength training, with resistance machines placed near the perimeter for privacy and focus.
The suspended ceiling integrates a uniform lighting grid for consistent, glare-free illumination, supporting a healthy indoor environment for extended workout sessions.
A useful reference for architects and operators planning fitness studios that balance technical performance and design clarity.
